Conference in Zagreb – ECNSI 2011.

The Fifth International Conference for Advanced and Systematic Research ECNSI-2011 Zagreb, was held in Zagreb from 10 to 12 November, 2011, at the Four Points by Sheraton Panorama Hotel and at the Faculty of Teacher Education of the University of Zagreb. This year, a jubilee year, the Conference gathered a series of scientific, technical and specialized interdisciplinary symposia organized by the Faculty of Teacher in Zagreb and the European Centre for Advanced and systematic Research. In previous years the Conference was held in Zadar and Zagreb.

In addition to participants from all parts of Croatia, this year there were more than two hundred and thirty participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, Macedonia, Slovenia, Turkey, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Sweden, etc. The official Conference languages were English and Croatian, English for written contributions.

The Conference program consisted of a plenary session and of the specialized workshops on various topics. As part of the Conference, an international exhibition and two concerts were held, and the best works of individual symposia received special awards.

The following series of international symposia took place this year:

1)         3rd SPECIAL FOCUS SYMPOSIUM ON IKS (Information and Knowledge Systems)

2)         12th SPECIAL FOCUS SYMPOSIUM ON ICESKS: Information, Communication and Economic Sciences in the Knowledge Society

3)         KINESIOLOGICAL PREVENTION IN EDUCATION

4)         EARLY LEARNING OF CROATIAN / MOTHER TONGUE (ELC/MT-5)

5)         THE THIRD SPECIALIZED ART – SCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM

6)         ROUNDTABLE – A KNOWLEDGE SOCIETY

7)         EARLY FOREIGN LANGUAGES LEARNING AND TEACHING (EFLLAT-2011)

8)         SCHOOL, EDUCATION AND LEARNING FOR THE FUTURE

9)         A WORK OF ART IN MUSIC EDUCATION
